La Estación de Santa Justa está situada en un marco privilegiado de la ciudad a escasos metros del casco histórico y con buena comunicación por carretera. Fue proyectada por los arquitectos Antonio Cruz y Antonio Ortiz y construida entre 1987 y 1991. Edificada en diferentes niveles, cuenta con seis vías de ancho internacional reservadas para el AVE (tren de Alta Velocidad Española).

Desde la estación de Santa Justa salen diariamente trenes con destino a todas las provincias andaluzas. La red de Trenes Media Distancia de Renfe comunica Andalucía con Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura y Madrid.
