El sevillano durante la Feria, convierte la Caseta en su casa, en   ella   recibe   y  atiende a  familiares   y  amigos y ejerce de anfitrión como si en ella estuviera.

 En  las   casetas,   sencilla y   bellamente    engalanadas,   no falta   el   Fino  de    Jerez   o  la   Manzanilla de  Sanlúcar  de

Barrameda,  el  jamón,  las  gambas,  el  baile, las  sevillanas,

 las palmas, la guitarra y también, por qué no, la gaita y el tamboril rociero, ... y  nunca, nunca  debe faltar "ese caldo del puchero" con un chorreón de fino, capaz de hacernos sentir como nuevos...


La Feria de Sevilla, llamada también Feria de Abril, se celebra una o dos semanas después de Semana Santa y empieza el lunes a las doce de la noche con la popular prueba del alumbrado, con el encendido de su portada de miles de bombillas y farolillos que la convierten  en un ascua de luz, y tras unos interminables días de contento, lujo y señorío, caballistas, amazonas, paseos de caballo y deslumbrantes carruajes, finaliza oficialmente el Domingo a las doce de la noche con un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales a la orilla del Río Guadalquivir.


Debido a sus actuales proporciones se rumorea el traslado de la Feria de Abril al Charco de la Pava, zona que queda a la orilla del río Guadalquivir, en terrenos recuperados para la celebración de la Exposición Universal  celebrada en Sevilla en 1992.

HOLIDAYS AND TRADITIONS : Feria de Sevilla    

 

The fair of Seville  is traditionally marked by lighting ceremony on Real. That is where thousands of bulbs cover its streets lights and give start to a holiday week. His nickname the beginning of the show "The alumbrao" which is usually a Monday at 12 pm of April. Everything is decorated with lanterns and colored bulbs. For them, they walk through the day car rides horses ,riders,visitors women with flamenco dresses and everyone sings and dances Sevillanas both inside and outside the booths.
Typically, the April Fair is the famous dish of fried fish, accompanied with a glass of manzanilla or glass of fine or a pot "rebujito" (homemade lemon chamomile)
At night keep running the rebujito, mixed with dancing and music of guitars.
On the other hand for the little and not so little ones can enjoy the attractions located in the "Elm Street".
Variety of positions chocolate, churros, pizzerias, fast food you can find around the fairgrounds.
The fair ends with a fireworks display on Sunday of the same week at 12 pm. All Sevillian dismiss it with sadness and looking forward to the new exhibition cover the following year.

Easter
Easter  is approaching and there are very few cities with more tradition Sevilla, that's why this year the perfect time to escape to our hotel in Seville is March! .
Magical places to watch the processions
There are specific points of the city where people brimming with emotion and really emotional and moments worth seeing live, if you want  keep  not only with the memory of the crowds and the crowd.
